Australian SMS integration to your GoHighLevel accounts- Guni SMS

With the Guni app, you can now send automated SMS and conversations SMS and MMS from GHL 

  • – Conversation
  • – Workflows
  • – SMS & MMS
  • – Two Way – SMS
  • – Agency & Sub-account

This article will guide you through the steps on how to connect your GHL account and send an SMS.

Install App
1. Install Guni SMS APP

Go to GHL App

  1. 1. Login to GHL Account
  2. 2. Navigate to App Marketplace
    1. – Search “Guni” in search bar
    2. – Click Guni App & Install

Alternatively, click the above Install App button and install the Guni SMS app from GHL Marketplace

Install the App to the Agency or Subaccount
  1. Add Guni Token – Get a token from > https://app.gunisms.com.au/integrations
    1. -Click Verify and Install
After connecting, compose your SMS.

You can go to the conversation and see the GuniSMS tab as an SMS provider.

Now, you can send and receive SMS in Guni.

For sender – please go to Guni account and setup Default Sender ID from the list

Select  Sender ID from the list.  Following are the options for sender IDs – https://app.gunisms.com.au/sender-ids

  • Shared number—The free numbers in the pool. Other customers use a shared number pool. The system assigns the number to your message and removes it after some hours.
  • Dedicated number  –  It is a unique phone number for a specific business and it is exclusively for your use and involves a monthly subscription fee.
  • Business Name –  Add your brand name as the sender and excite your audience. You can add up to 11 characters.
  • Own number – You can use your number. This is the number that your account verification.

Viewor add new Sender ID – https://app.gunisms.com.au/sender-ids

Add a Guni Subaccount here and map them with your GHL subaccount.

Connect Guni SMS with GHL Workflow

Go to GHL Automation 

Click Create Workflows

Setup the Trigger as per business requirement and add Action

Type Guni in the Search Bar. Select Guni SMS for SMS automation

Compose your SMS in the Message box and use personalisation after clicking Tag

  • – Click Save Action

To send automatic MMS – select Guni MMS from the Action.

  • Compose MMS, attach the image file and click Save Action 

Troubleshoot

If you’re having problems, please check the following:

  1. Check your Authentication. It should be using your GuniSMS Token key – https://app.gunisms.com.au/integrations
  2. Make sure you have credit in your balance. Check here and top up credit
  3. Fill in all required parameters. Required params are phone numbers of contacts and message body in the SMS setup

FAQS

  1. Can I send messages using Alpha Tag Sender ID?
    – Yes, add the sender – here and use the dropdown list from ActiveCampaign
  2. Where can I get replies to my messages?
    – Replies are not currently supported within ActiveCampaign. Find your outbound and inbound SMS Guni history here.
  3. Do you handle opt outs in GHL?
    -Yes, opt-outs are managed in Guni SMS, if a user sends the STOP back to your message – Optuput list.
